- implementation so the various sellers had to write their own. I have ESIX
- and their slip is a disaster. The Dell one seems to work fine according to

- You do need to add the slip modules to the kernel but you do not need bootp.

- There are many PD slips so you could ftp several (Intel have written one)
- of these and see what the makefile does.

- I must say that I tried setting up a slip link and eventually gave up. I am
- now successfully using ppp which was really quite straightforward.
