- We are running a small network of 486-33 ISA bus SCO Unix machines with SMC
- Elite-16 ethernet cards, and I notice that heavy ethernet activity puts a real
- load on the machine. Is this something that can be solved by using a different
- (intelligent?) ethernet card or is it a limitation of the ISA bus?
-
- What does one do to decrease the CPU laod caused by heavy ethernet traffic in a
- case like this?
-
- Frank.
