  11. We are running a small network of 486-33 ISA bus SCO Unix machines with SMC
  12. Elite-16 ethernet cards, and I notice that heavy ethernet activity puts a real
  13. load on the machine.  Is this something that can be solved by using a different
  14. (intelligent?) ethernet card or is it a limitation of the ISA bus?
  15.  
  16. What does one do to decrease the CPU laod caused by heavy ethernet traffic in a
  17. case like this?
