  15. I would like to purchase a CDROM drive (scsi) to be used on both
  16. an Adaptec 1542B under SCO unix and also to be used under AIX on an IBM
  17. RS/6000.  (Not at the same time.)

  19. I have looked into the NEC CDR 37 and the CDR 74.
  20. The salesman has told me that the drive is SCSI but I need a special controller
  21. for the PC.  This sounds funny.  I don't think SCO has a recommended drive,
  22. but my local SCO distributor hinted at the NEC product.

  24. I am interested in hearing of peoples experiences with generic scsi CDROM
  25. on both of these systems.  What have people been using with IBM?
