- may likely contradict what you've just said. For instance, if the
- machine in question is running /bin/rmail, "mail" simply reads
- standard input until it sees a ^D and sends off what was typed.
- I think this is the case for most "stock" mail's, but I'm no
- expert on BSD, for instance. If your system has an "improved" mail
- suite, the published man page will be completely irrelevant.
