  48. I have the same problem with my Western Digital WD93044-A 40MB IDE drive
  49. connected to a Miniscribe 300892101 Rev. P2 AT DISK controller.
  50. The controller has several jumpers: JP1, JP2, JP3, JP4, JP5.
  51. Pin 2 and 3 of JP1 are connected. Pin 1 and 2 of the other jumpers
  52. are not connected. Does anybody know the meaning of these jumper?
  53. The BEEP is produced by the drive and not by the speaker!

  57. I got the same result. I think that bytes are getting swapped
  58. somewhere reading this information! This should have been:

  73. The only way to boot 386BSD 0.1 is by setting the disktype to 0 (undefined). 
  74. No beep this time.
