  15.        Please pardon the newbe question, but I'm having trouble adding 
  16.        users (me) to 386bsd-0.1.
  17.        
  18.        If there is a better place to ask newbe type questions, please 
  19.        let me know.

  21.        I tried the following:
  22.            1. looking for a 'adduser' etc program/script
  23.        
  24.            2. makeing an entry in the /etc/passwd file
  25.               makeing am entry in the /etc/master.passwd file
  26.            adding the home directory in /usr
  27.        
  28.            3. rebooting the machine after 2
  29.        
  30.        when I try to chown the /usr/mark directory, I get something 
  31.        similar to "no user match" (I confess, I didn't write it down)
  32.        
  33.        I looked for a /mail directory for other users, but I can't find 
  34.        it.
  35.        
  36.        Any ideas?

  38.        Also: I started making a map of the file system for my own 
  39.        benifit. Does such a thing already exsist? If so where? If not, 
  40.        would anyone find it usefull?
