  14. I would just like to comment on the public relations angle of this
  15. move.  Suppose that AT&T wins the suit and BSDI is put out of
  16. business.  AT&T will have spent thousands if not millions in legal
  17. fees for what gains?  It will have pissed-off a large community of
  18. people who were/are responsible for a great deal of the success of
  19. ***X.  Namely the academic and research communities.  All the while
  20. Microsoft is bearing down on them with Windows NT.
  21. Smart move AT&T (NOT!).
