- A/UX is a standalone system, just like the Mac OS. You don't need to

- order to run it...in other words, if you, a Quadra, and a copy of A/UX

- You COULD do this with just MacX and a modem, but you'd grow old. A
- tremendous amount of data has to fly back and forth between an X client
- and server, and a 9600 baud data link just isn't going to cut it.
