- I have been asked by a Communications department to set
- up an A/UX system to be used on a SLIP account. Because they
- are severely low on funding, a IIsi is my best option. The
- configuration I can get from Apple is a IIsi (A/UX) w/ 9MB RAM
- and an 80MB HD. One of my questions is if a 205 MB HD would be
- adequate for aproximately 400 students if the primary purpose
- of the system is e-mail/news groups. The maximum number of
- users the system could have at one time is 16, although I don't
- see more than 5 or 6 at the most.
-
- The other question is if I should purchase more RAM (say for
- 20MB). My options may be limited to either going larger than
- 205 MB for the hard drive, or getting more RAM.
-
- Much thanks in advance!
- Doug
