- I've read the FAQ,a nd checked the swap space (swap -a) and kconfig
- setups (couldn't understand much of it, but saw nothing obvious), and I
- still have troubles and questions.
-
- Lately A/UX 3.0 is giving me a lot of strange refusals. Sometimes MacX
- windows quit and disappear spontaneously. Sometimes I get "out of memory"
- messages. Sometimes Unix tasks quit, with or without such messages, when I
- know they should have succeeded. once in a while, during a compile, I get
- a "malloc failed" message. The most disturbing symptom is the MacX window
- disappearance. Something is definitely wrong.
-
- I have 20 MB of RAM and 30 MB of swap space. There's lots of space left
- in my file systems, and as far as I know my RAM is ok. Anybody got any
- clues?
