- This is a very good upgrade path, except that it's more expensive (esp. if
- you have lot's of memory) than a simple accelerator card.

- If you get the Daystar PowerCard 50 (Oops... PowerCache 50...) with the
- FPU unit it'll cost you around $1500 and you won't have to dump your old
- RAM and get new RAM.

- If you go for the IIfx logic board swap, it'll run about $2000 plus another
- chunk of change for replacement RAM... In fact, you may no longer be able
- to _get_ the IIfx board.

- If you do get the IIfx board see if you can find someone with a II who wants
- to upgrade to a IIx... You sell him your IIx logic board and you take
- his/her II board and then upgrade to the IIfx... The selling price of your
- IIx board will offset the upgrade cost to the IIfx.
