- Hi AIX gurus,
-
- I am not very familiar with AIX, so please excuse the perhaps simple or stupid questions.
-
- 1) Is there an equivalent command like for example under SunOS dmesg to get the selftest
- or bootinfo during runtime?
-
- 2) Why need I ent0 and en0?
-
- 3) If I set up the AIX-system with 2 Ethernet interfaces, have I to configure
- ent0, en0, ent1 and en1 or only ent0, en0 and en1?
-
- 4) How can I check whether the kernel, if there is one at all, is TCP/IP capable?
- nm /unix | fgrep inet doesn't show anything at all, although TCP/IP works.
-
- Thanks for any hint,
-
- Herbert
