- I guess you mean *xautolock* (instead of autolock). I had a look
- at it, and it's an X program. Sorry, my original posting may not
- have been clear. What I'm looking for is something that will
- blank the console screen whether or not X is running.

- Our RS/6000 running AIX 3.2.1 sits in a lab for general use. Often
- there is no one logged on. So the screen has "Console login:" at
- the lower left corner all the time. The advice I got was to turn
- the monitor off or turn the intensity down. There must be a better
- solution, and I don't want to have to code it.
