  15. I am having trouble getting the '\theindex' command to work
  16. correctly.

  18. I have headers set up which print chapters and sections,
  19. respectively, together with the page number. However, for
  20. the index headers and sections just stay unchanged from the
  21. previous chapter.

  23. I looked into the code of \theindex, and it does have a
  24. \@mkboth which I assume sets the headings. Nevertheless, all
  25. my index pages have the reader "references" (since that is
  26. the chapter that happens to be before the index).

  28. Any help is greatly appreciated.
