- It's not the print shop _per_se_ that needs to be .dvi aware, but
- a service bureau. You have a couple of choices:
-
- 1. Find one of the printers/publishers that is .dvi aware.
-
- 2. Find someone who can print a .dvi file to a high-resolution
- printer, and take the output to any one of a number
- of small-run printers. (Me, for example :)
-
- 3. Use dvips to create a postscript file that can be set at a
- local service bureau, then proceed as step 2.
-
- This assumes that 300dpi output isn't good enough.
-
- If you don't actually have a problem with output (you can
- get it into hardcopy), then all you need is a printer.
- Go to your nearby library, and look in Literary Marketplace
- (LMP), from Bowker's. This will guide you to a plethora
- of printers, many of which are set up for runs of books
- as few as 10 or less.
