- OK TeXperts, Here's an "easy" question:
-
- I have two Chinese characters "1" and "2" which need to
- be printed on the same line (i.e. no line break between
- them) and without any space between them (like "12").
- For some reason simply writing "12" wouldn't work because
- TeX still treats "1" and "2" as separate words and breaks
- the line between them. I try "1~2", and then a space is
- added so that it looks like "1 2", which is not what I
- want. Is there any way to keep "1" and "2" on the same
- line and without any space between them?
-
- I will summarize if there are enough interests (potentially
- it's of interest to those of us who are using TeX/LaTeX to
- print Chinese) and if I receive an answer.
-
- Thanks a lot.
