  13. I just struck a problem that has bothered for a while. I want to be
  14. able to set the screen palette for my MastersPort 286 running MSDOS
  15. 5.0. Either from the keyboard directly as with the SupersPorts or
  16. through software. Both would, of course, be ideal. Now the problem.

  18. I know that the ZDS utility, MACHINE, has a command PALETTE[n] to do
  19. this, but when I run it I get a message that says that palette is an
  20. invalid parameter. The only thing I can think of that I am doing
  21. "differently" is that the version of MACHINE I am running was part of 
  22. the MSDOS 4 that came with the machine itself.

  24. I really do miss being able to vary the palette from within any
  25. program as I could on the SupersPort.

  27. Any suggestions/solutions will be appreciated.
