  11. Today, our Sun started reporting hard media errors for a single sector
  12. on the root partition.  I had to shut down ungracefully, and after
  13. rebooting, the startup fsck failed, leaving the system semi-functional
  14. with / mounted read-only.  I managed to lock things up a second time,
  15. and after restarting again, the system refused to boot at all.  The
  16. monitor prints the following error messages:

  25. Is there anything left for me to try before placing a call to Sun?
