- I disagree. The idle time should be adjusted by SunPro to ensure that the
- number of licenses you buy accurately reflects the number of users. It is
- impossible to do this perfectly (some will have to buy more than is 'fair'
- and some will be able to get by with fewer) and you can often get around
- it (by setting up a 'make' daemon) but basically you should expect to have
- to buy a number of licences that reflects the number of compiler users.

- Fine. Try gcc, then you get a debugger that doesn't hang when you start it,
- doesn't take a SEGV when your program takes a Bus Error and (last but not
- least) can be relied upon to find the source files for your code instead of
- forcing you to learn SPARC assembler :-) I *HATE* dbx. Neil.
