- That's me... and it's in the mail :-) Seriously, though, I _have_ sent
- Russ a beta-test copy just this afternoon. If Russ can get my stuff to work
- for him, then I will post it here for all to enjoy (and criticize ;-)

-
- In OpenWindows version 3, olwm tries to grab _all_ of the available
- screens on the display. Since MacX is managing screens 0 and 2,
- olwm is denied access to some of the screens it asks for (0 and 2).
- Being a greedy little beast, olwm throws a tantrum and quits :-)
-
- Use the following command instead (see man page for details):
- /sgs/openwin/bin/olwm -single -display "@display"
-
- BTW, I assume by "@display" you really mean the MacX "display" variable,
- where the "@" character is actually "option-r". That's what you want.

-
- This is correct. MacX does not act as window manager on the rooted
- screens, namely 1 for B&W and 3 for color. Therefore, MacX will let
- olwm manage these screens (1 and 3). So those are the screens to use.

-
- No, this is not the cause of the above problems. But your screen may be
- _physically_ too small to hold all of the windows you want. And the IIsi
- isn't powerful enough, IMHO, to run MacX in color. I tried grey-scale
- on a IIci, which is faster; it was totally unusable. Your mileage may vary.
