- What beep are you talking about? If it's the hardware-generated keyboard
- beep, there's not much you can do about it, since it's generated by hardware
- in the keyboard :-). Actually, you could write a timer routine to modulate
- the keyboard beeper by rapidly toggling it on and off, but the best you
- can get using that technique is an unpleasant raspberry-type sound.

- If you mean a beep coming from the D/A and speaker inside the CPU box,
- such as something generated by the cuckoo clock, you can substitute any
- .au file for the cuckoo. You can get mail notification by making your
- .forward file pipe into play, and you can do silly things like aliasing
- cd to play boing.au every time you change directories. Unfortunately,
- I know of no way to automatically map all keyboard beeps into play
- commands.
