- Yup - support for the 8500 was put in in 4.1.2. In 4.1.1 you can
- USE an 8500, but it will always write to the tape in the format
- that the tape you have was originally written in (at least if you
- have the factory default firmware on the drive, which is opening
- another whole can of worms). Everything seems to work fine
- in 4.1.2. We have several.
