  13. Had an interesting situation today.  I'd postponed doing the system accounting
  14. for a while and the files got rather large.  Today there was only about 280K left
  15. on / so I decided to clean things up.

  17. After I ran sa and pac, df reported disk free space of 360K.  However, when I
  18. started running "du -s" and added everyting up, it looked like I had 1700K (which
  19. is what I expected it to be).

  21. So, all you filesystem gurus out there, under what conditions will DU and DF 
  22. return inconsistent results AND can you tell me why they (sometimes) don't agree
  23. with one another?
