- Has anyone ever had problems with rebooting an SLC running Solaris 2?
- What happens at out site is that when the machine reboots either
- using reboot or halting it and booting from the prom monitor, the
- rotating slash signifying that the OS (or boot info) is being loaded
- spins for a while than freezes and the screen goes blank (black).
- Nothing short of turning the SLC off than on again would get any response.
- (Not eve L1-A). The SLC is set not to autoboot on startup (which shouldn't
- be a problem I think). Attached to the SLC is a 1.3Gb drive and a cdrom
- player. (The cdrom is usually not turned on. The problem occurs whether
- it is on or off, mounted or not). Any suggestions?
- Thanks
