  12. Has anyone ever had problems with rebooting an SLC running Solaris 2?
  13. What happens at out site is that when the machine reboots either
  14. using reboot or halting it and booting from the prom monitor, the
  15. rotating slash signifying that the OS (or boot info) is being loaded
  16. spins for a while than freezes and the screen goes blank (black).
  17. Nothing short of turning the SLC off than on again would get any response.
  18. (Not eve L1-A). The SLC is set not to autoboot on startup (which shouldn't
  19. be a problem I think). Attached to the SLC is a 1.3Gb drive and a cdrom
  20. player. (The cdrom is usually not turned on.  The problem occurs whether
  21. it is on or off, mounted or not).  Any suggestions?
