- Hi,
-
- Can anyone tell me how Sun's sendmail handles the "Reply To:" field of
- a mail message? More specifically, how can I tell sendmail to leave the
- line alone when calling the uucp mailer? When I put "Reply To: marc@aai.com"
- (an MX record points to uunet) it gets changed to "aai!aai.com!marc".
- What's worse is that if I set the domain name in sendmail.cf to
- "aai.com" (we don't run YP) I get "aai!!marc" which makes messages
- impossible to reply to. I've hacked sendmail.cf files a little and
- understand how sender and recipient address are manipulated by the
- rulesets, but I don't see what rules apply to "Reply To:".
