- The scanner program will work with a ricoh is11 on the parallel
- port, but it seems that their bidirectional parallel protocol
- is different than most peoples, so even at the signal level,
- it may not work with your scanner. You should be able
- to find out fairly quickly dumping commands to the port
- and then reading back (see 'man plp' for the ioctls to use,
- including the one to put it into bidirectional mode).
