- That is correct. The MIT R5 distribution for SGI machines
- only supports clients and libraries. An SGI R5 server is
- not supplied in the distribution.

- Uh, yes, but they are not publicly available. SGI intends to release
- an R5 version of the X server in the next major release of IRIX.

- to support the GL. Even if an SGI server was available in the MIT
- distribution, it would not support the GL (for a number of reasons
- including that the current GL is proprietary technology and MIT
- probably doesn't want to be bothered by GL support).
