- We have an application that we wrote under IRIX 3.3.1 that handles a
- good deal of screen interaction in a daemon process seperate from the
- main process. The two processes communicate via sockets. Each also
- uses select() on a number of file descriptors to process significant
- events. Now, under IRIX 4.0.1, both the parent and daemon processes
- are experiencing a Segmentation Fault in their calls to qgetfd() when
- trying to set-up for the select() call. I am presently stumped. Any
- suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks.
