  13. We have an application that we wrote under IRIX 3.3.1 that handles a
  14. good deal of screen interaction in a daemon process seperate from the
  15. main process.  The two processes communicate via sockets.  Each also
  16. uses select() on a number of file descriptors to process significant
  17. events.  Now, under IRIX 4.0.1, both the parent and daemon processes
  18. are experiencing a Segmentation Fault in their calls to qgetfd() when
  19. trying to set-up for the select() call.  I am presently stumped.  Any
  20. suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
