  21. I received a few replies, one of which pointed me to ftp'ing
  22. a program from NeXT.com.  The program is called "reasb" (for
  23. "reassign block") and is anonymous ftp-able from next.com in
  24. the directory /pub/Misc/Utilities/reasb.  I compiled and ran
  25. the program and it seems to do the trick--that is, I no longer
  26. am getting the scsi/"bread" error messages.
