- NeXT's policy is not to sell the ROMs. If you would like NeXT to change
- thier policy, you should contact hardware marketing.

- The only difference between those two ROM versions is that v65 supports
- some minor changes to the PC board design. Your older slab would not do
- anything differently were you to install a newer ROM--well, if you were to
- install a ROM version 3.0 or higher, it could boot directly from a CD-ROM.

- I would be surprised if there were any bugs in the ROM code. It is not
- terribly complex, there are a finite number of things that it needs to
- support, and NeXT thoroughly tests all of these. NeXTSTEP is a different
- matter.
