- About a month ago I got kermit 5a from sonata, and it worked fine on
- my machine. However, about two weeks ago, it started acting funny.
- I can dial up a computer, but as soon as I try to 'connect', a copy
- of kermit gets started (i.e. a seperate process as shown by the 'ps' command).
-
- After that, I can't type the escape character (I assume this is because the
- two kermits are confliting with each other). I can kill one of the
- kermit processes, but another one will start as soon as I try to connect
- again. Obviously, something on my machine changed, but I don't know what
- (I've tried to reinstall kermit again, but it works the same).
- Any ideas?
