- well, after feeling the pressures of not being able to turn in 1/2 of my
- semester grade, I went ahead and shut off the machine. It made it's usual
- beeps and the printer did it's usual reset, but it still gave me the message:
-
- NO SPACE available on remote disk
-
- It still won't print anything, and the /tmp is empty.
- It turns out that NOTHING that uses the disk will run on this machine,
- so as you all guessed it, nothing does run on here. Things like
- WordPerfect will run as long as the document is no more than a few lines, but
- if it gets bigger, **ZAPP**.
-
- Any hints on what I should do now?
- Any directories I should look into?
-
- The machine was working earlier tonight because I was printing some heafty
- graphics. Could some .nfs* files be lurking around somewhere? Some of my
- graphic files?? Could I erase them without being a root?
-
- Help.. please!
