- I checked the FAQs and found nothing on this topic, but surely someone
- asked these questions before.
-
- I am running NeXTstep V2.2 and a 386SX PC with DOS V5.0.
-
- Files I create on the NeXT and saved to a DOS diskette have a correct
- date/time when viewed on the NeXT but on the PC the year is off by +70,
- the month is off by -1, and the hours are off by +7. There's a similar
- disparity, but with opposite sign, for files created on the PC and viewed
- on the NeXT (except the NeXT shows no time values for files created on the
- PC).
-
- Are these known bugs?
-
- Is this simply a case of the PC not using the same time offsets as Unix?
-
- Will this be fixed in NeXTstep 3.0?
-
- In the meantime, is there a work-around?
