  13. I checked the FAQs and found nothing on this topic, but surely someone  
  14. asked these questions before.

  16. I am running NeXTstep V2.2 and a 386SX PC with DOS V5.0.

  18. Files I create on the NeXT and saved to a DOS diskette have a correct  
  19. date/time when viewed on the NeXT but on the PC the year is off by +70,  
  20. the month is off by -1, and the hours are off by +7.  There's a similar  
  21. disparity, but with opposite sign, for files created on the PC and viewed  
  22. on the NeXT (except the NeXT shows no time values for files created on the  
  23. PC).

  25. Are these known bugs?  
  26.  
  27. Is this simply a case of the PC not using the same time offsets as Unix?
  28.  
  29. Will this be fixed in NeXTstep 3.0?

  31. In the meantime, is there a work-around?
