  11. The Journalism Department at Ball State University is getting ready to 
  12. purchase an entire new lab, and we have a few questions...

  14. The choice is between Mac IIci's and Mac IIsi's.  Both with 5MB RAM, and they
  15. will have the high-res screen.  Here is my question:

  17. We can get the IIsi's, with an added FPU, for about half of the cost of the 
  18. IIci's.  What is the performance difference between these setups?

  20. I've read the the IIci is 45% faster than the IIsi (without the FPU).  How
  21. about with the FPU?
