- To get Arabic Script installed all you need is:
-
- 1) Arabic Extension (Al-Nizam-al-Arabi)
- 2) Arabic Script System
- 3) Arabic Keyboard
- 4) Arabic System Font (Al-Qahira ID-17920)
-
- all other Control Panels and Extensions are optional.
-
- One more thing I find out was that on my CD ROM the Arabic Extension was on two
- different installation disks (Diskcopy files). One of them was bad and caused
- the mac to beep on startup. Replacing it with the good one fixed the problem.
