- Hi!
- About a week ago, I was trying a game I'd gotten via ftp. The game crashed,
- and since then, I get error -127 whenever I try to move a file on my hard drive.
- Occasionally nothing will happen other than the error message, sometimes the file
- is copied to the new location but not removed from the old and sometime, and this
- is my favorite, the error message will come up, and the shortly after dismissing
- it, the file is moved anyway!
- I've tried Virus Detective and Disinfectant 2.9 and neither show a virus, so I
- assume the hd is trashed. Can I save it without of reformatting?
- Also, some of my files have disappeared. Is this from the hd crash, or is it
- the famous "disappearing file feature" that comes free with every sys 7.0?
- I'm running a Mac+ with 4 meg mem and sys 7.0 tuned with 1.1.1. My hd is a
- brand spanking new CMS 45 meg.
-
- Tnx for replies, and sorry if this is FAQ.
