- Follow these steps to de-install System 7:

- 1 >>> startup the computer in question with a floppy disk (use the 6.0.x
- installer disk for this would make things easier, except you may need
- to quit from the Installer application that is ran on bootup.)
- 2 >>> after the hard drive mounts, do a quick backup of the extensions you
- will be saving by moving them out of the system folder.
- 3 >>> drag the system folder (all of it) into the trash and empty it.
- 4 >>> now ran the installer for 6.0.x
