- Regarding Bad F-Line errors on a IIci:
-
- I had scads of these when I added a cache card to my IIci (it was an older CI
- before Apple started putting them in); turned out to be a bad card and swapping
- it out with another fixed the problem. Before that I tried just about
- everything else (re-installing system, reformatting disk, swapping disk,
- changing video config, etc.). One other thing, when re-installing system, make
- sure to DELETE the old SYSTEM file. Otherwise a corrupted file can be updated
- and stll cause problems.
-
- Good luck!
