- I replied through mail, but it bounced, here let me be short:
- Look in a FAQ type file, regularly posted in the groups
- alt.binaries.sounds.misc and alt.binaries.sounds.d. I think version 2.1 is
- the latest. Subject line: FAQ: Audio File Formats (version 2.1),-
- reference Message-ID: <audio-fmts_707646647@charon.cwi.nl>. It contains
- much useful information,( also of alternative sources and manuals that can
- be obtained over the net). Here a rather quote:

- "The complete AIFF spec by Steve Milne, Matt Deatherage (Apple) is
- available in 'AMIGA ROM Kernal Reference Manual: Devices (3rd Edition)'
- 1991 by Commodore-Amiga, Inc.; Addison-Wesley Publishing Co.; ISBN
- 0-201-56775-X, starting on page 435 (this edition has a charcoalgrey
- cover). It is available in most bookstores, and soon in many good
- librairies."
