- The aliases you use for items in the Apple Menu can start with blanks or other
- characters (such as * or !) that change the ordering. In fact, you can group
- the Apple Menu items by putting two blank spaces before each alias for
- applications, one before utilities, etc. Then you can separate the groupings
- by creating empty files with names ********* and the appropriate number of
- spaces. Within each grouping you can use special characters to alter the
- ordering.
