  15. The aliases you use for items in the Apple Menu can start with blanks or other
  16. characters (such as * or !) that change the ordering.  In fact,  you can group
  17. the Apple Menu items by putting two blank spaces before each alias for 
  18. applications, one before utilities, etc.  Then you can separate the groupings
  19. by creating empty files with names ********* and the appropriate number of
  20. spaces.  Within each grouping you can use special characters to alter the
  21. ordering.
