  14. I recently put sys 7.0 on my classic, so hopefully I can help you.

  22. what you want to do is download diskcopy from ftp.apple.com.  Those .image 
  23. files are data files diskcopy uses to create copies of disks.

  31. Once you download diskcopy, you can load the .image files and create 
  32. system disks.  These must be 1440 K floppies if you have the 1440 k .images.
  33. Once this is done, trash the .images, and boot from the system disks,
  34. install the new software.

  40. You shouldn't have to, although I did because I had a hard disk problem.
  41. You should check your hard disk with disk first aid and perhaps Norton
  42. Disk DOctor or something like that, to make sure you don't have problems.
  43. You should also make sure you download sys7 tuner 1.1.1, and install it,
  44. or you _will_ have problems.

  46. Overall, sys 7 has been a good experience, although copying floppies is
  47. a _slow_ proposition.
