- I got a LISA MacXL from them (when they were charging $999 :( ) with a
- 10 MB HD and 800K floppy. Also included MacWorks Plus to make the LISA
- think it is a Mac Plus (New roms, too) With only 1 MB ram, it would not run
- any of the newer stuff and seems to be stuck at OS 6.0.2. It won't run
- an installer. Also, the HD drive went out right away. They replaced it free,
- but I lost all my data. (I know, I know, backup!) Then a chip whet out
- on the floppy controller. Now either a video chip is going or my power
- supply. It is SLOW, too! BUT! it got me into the world of MAC cheaper at
- the time then any other path and I was able to use most stuff that will run
- on a MAC Plus. I am replacing it with an LCII but I will always have fond
- memories of my first 'Mac'. The SUN prices are for LISA's with the new
- MacPlus ROMs are so are probably higher then and unmodified LISA.
