  13. i was given a mac portable (old style) with 2mb ram and backlit...
  14. however it was running 7.0....(near worthless with 2mb) thus i
  15. installed 6.0.8 and hmmmmmm the backlighting doesn't work...
  16. install 7.0....hmmmmm it works....

  18. can anyone shed any "light" on how/why the backlighting works
  19. on 7.0 but not 6.0.8 ?  is there a way to make backlighting work
  20. with 6.0.8 ?
