-
- I think comments like this come from people who are used to the ever-evolving
- technology coming from Apple, and who realize that the PB100 is "only" 4 year
- old technology repackaged.
-
- It's probably difficult for such a person (which includes most people on the
- net) to put himself into the shoes of the average Price Club/consumer channel
- shopper, where PClones have run rampant for all these years but nothing like
- the PB has ever been shown. The PB100 _is_ a good machine, yes--but when
- you're used to ci's and Quadras, it's tough to look at the PB100 and recognize
- its worth.
-
- This is probably why many people the net hears from, and many people within
- Apple, consider the PB100 a "dog." It's not, but it seems so under some
- circumstances.
