  18. I've been noticing this on sumex and mac.archive, but ftp.apple connects
  19. just fine.  I use Xferit which recently is timing out or gets the "call
  20. back later" response, but gopher gets through because of its socket
  21. oriented protocol.  However, the ftp transfers are definately slower
  22. than Xferit.  BTW, when I can't get through to the FTP sites with my mac,
  23. I can always get through with my Sun...
