  39. I've had an LC with sys 7 for 6 months now, every once in a while I rebuild
  40. the desktop by holding down option-command on startup.  REAL hard, let me
  41. tell you.  Same think works on every other Mac I've used.  If you're
  42. stupid,
  43. I suppose you could nuke the file with ResEdit (make it visible & delete).

  46. And it takes about 20 sec. (on my LC), with 3000 FILES (the important
  47. number)
  48. taking up 35 Megs, so I doubt it takes several minutes.
