- ???? No modifier key to hold down?
- I've had an LC with sys 7 for 6 months now, every once in a while I rebuild
- the desktop by holding down option-command on startup. REAL hard, let me
- tell you. Same think works on every other Mac I've used. If you're
- stupid,
- I suppose you could nuke the file with ResEdit (make it visible & delete).

- And it takes about 20 sec. (on my LC), with 3000 FILES (the important
- number)
- taking up 35 Megs, so I doubt it takes several minutes.
