- Apple has, in fact, said a little more about it than that. The
- Newton development system will be based on a new object-oriented
- language specifically designed for handheld PDA systems. This
- means that there will be some learning curve, but at least we
- won't have to worry about things like converting between C and
- Pascal strings as we do on the Mac.
