  13. Maybe you have a hardware problem.  Have you checked the cables
  14. & terminator on the internal drive?  If you have access to test
  15. equipment, or a technician friend, you might also want to check
  16. the board, to see if signals fr. the CPU are reaching the drive
  17. & vice versa.
