- OK. My wife is not a computer person. She uses our Mac to play games (she
- especially likes "snake" type games and solitaire card games, but I digress),
- and for almost nothing else.
-
- She is a nurse in an intensive care ward. When I read to her (she wasn't
- interested in reading it herself, but indulged me by listening to me) a
- description of Newton and what Newton will supposedly be able to do, she
- became very interested and rattled off a list of a dozen things that she
- hoped that she could be able to do with it at work. All of those things
- she mentioned are within Newton's capabilities, as I understand them.
-
- If she is a typical example, I'd say "Yes," Newton will have have at least
- the impact that the Mac did.
