- A while ago there was a discussion on the benchmarking results of Mac's,
- mainly the Quadras. A few people, myself included, suggested that the
- Quadras were in the 10-14 SPECmark range.

- Although I don't know of any true SPECmark results for the Quadra (and
- just the one for the IIfx), I have seen results for other 040-based
- systems... Here they are (from Unix Review, Sept '92):

- I would suggest that, with the right compilier (such as gcc), the Quadras
- would fall quite nicely in this catagory...

- Funny how compilers can _really_ affect "standard" benchmarks yet don't
- affect SPECmarks that much (as it should be)...
